Why Is ‘The Most Transparent Administration in History’ Keeping More and More Information Secret?

A new analysis by AP found that the federal government is rejecting more and more public requests for information? The AP report states that in 2012 “the government cited national security to withhold information at least 5,223 times — a jump over 4,243 such cases in 2011 and 3,805 cases in Obama’s first year in office.”

On Fox and Friends this morning, Gretchen Carlson examined the issue with Judge Andrew Napolitano, who explained that he sees Barack Obama as the “most secretive” president in history.

“The thrust of this administration has been, stonewall and find a way not to show to the public what we are doing. Why? Because this administration, more than any other in modern times, the hallmark of it is the president doing things on his own because he can’t get the Congress to agree with him. He wants to move the country too far to the left. So if he can do it on his own and not tell us about it, we won’t even know what he’s done.
