(Chris Martin, IJReview) -- Since the term of Dwight D. Eisenhower, the U.S. president has traditionally attended the National Prayer Breakfast. Today in Washington was no exception. Not surprisingly, President Obama referred to the violence taking place in the Middle East involving groups who fight, torture, and kill in the name of Islam.
During his speech, Obama also made reference to the violent past of other religions:
“And lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”
Obama broached the headline-dominating topic of Islamic terrorism by saying:
“From a school in Pakistan to the streets of Paris, we have seen violence and terror perpetrated by those who profess… to stand up for Islam, but in fact are betraying it.”
In addition, the President mentioned “a rising tide of anti-Semitism and hate crimes in Europe.” Then he pointed to the violent clashes which have taken place over the years in India, with Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains attacking each other viciously in the name of faith.
Obama urged those in attendance to seek humility and strive to live side by side with people of other religious beliefs.
(by Rick Wells, GOP The Daily Dose) -- As difficult as it is to look at the usurper and to listen to the lies that spew from the septic hole underneath is upturned nose, there’s also an annoyance factor that is becoming increasingly harder to ignore. As he personally becomes more intolerable so do his many flaws and idiosyncrasies.
If this supposed intellectual giant doesn’t have the gray matter or memory capacity to give a speech from his own black heart and is forced to read the printed words of others, that’s fine. Lots of real presidents have done the same thing.
But can his handlers at least station a third teleprompter in front of the podium so that it doesn’t look like the center of the room is empty? Since that is where the camera is usually located, it would make him look slightly less manufactured if he were to address the entire audience rather than only those on the flanks, with the center area appearing as some sort of empty, unused or equipment storage area.
Obama’s latest assault on the integrity of the ‘presidency’ and the American people took place at the annual Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, the day after he met secretly met with a group of unnamed Islamic clerics and leaders in the now dingy White House.
The great deceiver looks off to his extreme right, the only manner those words will likely ever be used in a sentence to describe this communist operative, as he says, “We see faith driving us to do right. But we also see faith being twisted and distorted, used as a wedge or worse, sometimes used as a weapon.” As Obama points his nose skyward, he proceeds to do just that.
He pretentiously denounces those who have engaged in terrorist acts around the world by those who “profess to stand up for Islam but in fact are betraying it.” “Professor” Obama then delivers a summary of what ISIS is and has done, as if he just experienced an epiphany or discovered there is something on television other than meaningless sports. He shares this new insight with the common folk, sounding surprised as he remarks that these things are “perpetrated in the name of religion.” He runs down a short list of terrorist acts and victims designed to create the impression of equal status, frequency and severity among all barbarism, a blatant defense of Islamic terrorists.
He labels himself as a person of faith, but which faith or faith in what and loyalty to whom is left to the audience’s imagination. Some might judge from his actions that he is speaking of his Islamic faith or that of the atheism of communism, or perhaps an individualized but no less tyrannical hybrid which includes fascism. Others might think that he got his marching orders and final instructions at the Muslim White House function and he’s dutifully carrying them out.
He expresses clearly that in his mind, or at least the presentation that he presents as coming from his mind and his judgments, the atrocities of the still, as of yet, officially unidentified Islamic terrorists are no worse than those of the Christian crusades of the past. Those same crusades will be used at every possible juncture to minimize the culpability of Islam in the barbarous acts being carried out by ISIS and other primarily Islamic terrorists today.
As the Obama distortion and perversion dispensation continues, he equates slavery in America and Jim Crowe laws with the Islamic State’s burning people alive and cutting off their heads, reminding us that in the past people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. While none of us were around during the periods of time he’s speaking about, the purpose of slavery was not a religious one but a largely an agricultural one and Jim Crowe laws were founded not on religion but on racism. Most of us have no trouble distinguishing between the two, but most of us don’t have the hateful, bigoted “religious” foundation of Hussein Obama.
After touching on India’s past religious conflicts, Obama gets to the real point he’s trying to make, absolution of guilt for Islamic terrorists, saying, “So this is not unique to one group or one religion. There is a tendency in us,” the Reverend Obama says, “A sinful tendency, that can pervert and distort our faith.” As a man who sat in the pews of Jeremiah Wright’s black supremacy church for twenty years, Obama is an expert on distortion and perversion.
He closes saying that God compels us to try to root out intolerance in cyberspace. God might want him to go several steps beyond that. Maybe he’d be better serving God if he used his power to stop the practitioners of his most favored religion from butchering innocent people. Something more than meaningless pledges to stand firmly behind or shoulder to shoulder with victims along the lines of real, decisive action might work.
God might want those Muslim leaders he met with the day before in secret to come out publicly and denounce the acts of those who share their same beliefs. He might want Obama to quit equating the Christians of today with terrorists in order to excuse the inexcusable.
Rather than working as a facilitator of terror and one who assaults this Christian nation, God would probably also prefer that Hussein Obama start telling the truth, and acting with sincerity in the interest and promotion of good over evil and the defense of our nation rather than its destruction.
Of course none of those things will happen as long as this Satanic “leader” has a grip on the helm, steering America full speed towards the rocks. God isn’t so easily fooled, particularly by the words of authoritarian pseudo-philosophical despots who oppress goodness and good people in their promotion of evil.
Today, our president made a comparison between Christians and ISIS that is so unbelievably absurd, so mind-numbingly stupid, that it could only be addressed in a video rebuttal.
