Obama Travels For Briefings On Ebola, Islamic State In Conjuction with Fund Raising Or Golf

President Obama next week will hit the road to receive updates on bombings against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria and efforts to contain the Ebola virus in Africa.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest Friday said Obama would travel to Atlanta Tuesday for a briefing from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on both Ebola and a respiratory virus in the Midwest.

The president on Wednesday will conduct a meeting with U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Fla., to review the administration’s efforts to eliminate the Islamic State.
