Longtime Fox News Reporter Found Dead: ‘Stunned and Heartbroken’

(TheBlaze) -- Longtime Fox News correspondent Dominic Di-Natale has died, the network said Thursday night. He was 43.

Described as a “versatile reporter comfortable at the keyboard or in front of the camera,” Di-Natale covered some of the biggest news stories over the years, most recently heading to Ferguson, Missouri, to cover the protests that followed the shooting death of Michael Brown.

Di-Natale’s body was discovered Wednesday in Jefferson County, Colorado, where a coroner ruled the cause of death a suicide, Fox News reported. Officials there were alerted by a friend who knew of some undisclosed health issues.

“We were extremely saddened to learn of Dominic’s passing and send our deepest condolences to his family and friends,” a network representative said in a statement. “He was an esteemed journalist and an integral part of our news coverage throughout the Middle East.”
