US Doctor Who Wants to Save Charlie Gard's Life Spent Five Hours Examining Him in London

The US doctor who wants to save Charlie Gard has spent five hours examining him at Great Ormond Street Hospital today.
Dr Michio Hirano believes he can help the little boy with experimental nucleoside drugs and travelled to London overnight at a High Court judge's invitation.
The Harvard-educated doctor, from Columbia University Medical Centre in New York, saw Charlie and his doctors today.
Dr Hirano and another doctor who cannot be named for legal reasons, believed to be from the Pope's hospital in Rome, examined Charlie and had access to all his notes and clinical data, including medical images.
