Mom Outraged After Teacher Uses a Ouija Board With Her Kindergarten Students
So long as prayers to God remain banned in classrooms, so should any sort of demonic activity, most would likely argue.
One Milwaukee public school teacher apparently felt differently. According to local news station WISN, the unnamed teacher recently introduced her students at Zablocki Elementary to a Ouija board, and the results were anything but quaint.
Speaking with the station, one mother complained that her 5-year-old son was “now having nightmares.”
“He’s scared now to go to bed at night, to be in the dark, anything alone,” she said.
In an email to the mother, the teacher reportedly claimed that the Ouija board had been in the classroom since Halloween and that she she had just wanted to have some fun.
“The kids have been asking for a scary story and I got the board and moved the paper clip to answer some of their questions,” she wrote. “They asked about scary characters in movies. I did not say there were spirits. It was all done in fun. I understand your concern. It was silly and I’m sorry. I will take the board home and this won’t happen again.”
The mother was not satisfied, though.
“They were shutting off the lights and making it dark and talking to spirits,” she said. “That’s not something that should be at school.”
