Meet The 44-Yr-Old Mom Of 4 Who Thinks She’s Too ‘Young And Beautiful’ To Date Men Her Own Age
Twitter roared in mockery after a British woman claimed that she could never get dates because she was way too beautiful.
Dawn Cousins, 44, who works in London as a receptionist, complained that her good looks have been a terrible burden to bear.
She said having trouble finding dates is something that has plagued her since her last long-term relationship ended in 2003.
“It is 14 years later and I am starting to panic,” she told The U.K. Sun.
Cousins said on the ITV talk show This Morning there were some reasons why she doesn’t get dates.
“Yes number one I am very attractive woman, number two I look very young, number three I am very fun, I am not your typical 44-year-old mother of four children,” she said.
Cousins explained she is hit on by the friends of her children, who range in age from 17 to 22.
“I look half my age and I have men drooling over me all the time, aged from 18 to ancient,” she told The Sun of her plight.
“Guys over 40 are all putting on weight,” she added. “I can’t date a fat, unattractive, old-aged man when I look so young and beautiful.”
Twitter was not gentle in its reception to her predicament.
Cousins said her children “feel like I need to lower my standards find someone that is a similar age as me and just settle down before they put me in a nursing home,” according to The U.K. Daily Mail.
She continued, “But I am saying no because I have the advantage of looking good so I want someone I am really attracted to and connect to emotionally I want to enjoy the second part of my life. I am not just going to settle because I am 44 and not being married.”
