London taxi crashes into pedestrians; not being treated as terrorism

A TAXI has ploughed into pedestrians in London tourist hotspot Covent Garden this evening.
At least one victim appears to be trapped under the black cab in the central London square after it mounted the pavement at around 5pm.
Cops have confirmed the crash is not being treated as terror-related.
Twitter users have reported a heavy police presence and say the streets around the Lyceum Theatre have been close to the public.
Dramatic pictures show the cab on the pavement with crowds watching the horrific incident unfold.
Witnesses have reported that several shops in the area have been evacuated.
A spokesman for he Met Police said: “Police on scene at Covent Garden dealing with serious injury accident involving a taxi.
