BREAKING: Wife of Orlando nightclub shooter FINALLY arrested

The Washington Post --

The FBI arrested the wife of Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen on Monday, a law enforcement official said.

Noor Salman was arrested in San Francisco, where she had been staying, on charges filed in the Middle District of Florida, the official said. The exact charges were not immediately clear.

An attorney for Salman did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the charges were not publicly available in court.

Salman had been under FBI scrutiny since Mateen shot and killed 49 people inside Orlando’s Pulse nightclub, an attack that was inspired by the Islamic State. He was then fatally shot by police.
