2020 Olympics to Feature Mixed Gender Events
The 2020 Olympic Games has just announced a startling change to its Tokyo games, and no, it is not the inclusion of more “edgy” sports like BMX racing. Instead, the Olympics are set to take sickening new direction, completely bowing to a progressive, liberal viewpoint.
The International Olympic Committee announced it will be adding mixed-gender events to the 2020 Olympic Games, which are currently slated to be held in Tokyo, Japan.
Apparently acknowledging that men and women have physical differences and should thus compete in separate sporting events amounts to “inequality.”
BBC Sport reported that “IOC president Thomas Bach said the Games will be “more youthful, more urban and include more women,” while IOC sports director Kit McConnell added that, they “have taken a really important step forward in terms of gender equality.”
The IOC has introduced several new races in which both men and women will compete against each other.
According to the official Olympic Games program for 2020, the mixed-gender races include a 4×400 mixed relay in athletics, a 4×100 medley mixed relay in swimming, mixed-doubles in badminton, a mixed relay in the triathlon, and a mixed doubles in both table tennis and regular tennis.
With this gender line broken down further for the 2020 games, one can only imagine what is going to happen when the transgender viewpoints challenge the IOC further.
It’s a shame that these progressives refuse to acknowledge that differences are actually a good thing, and that being different doesn’t mean being unequal. I mean… diversity anyone?
