The gunman who went on a deadly rampage Thursday near Wichita, Kan., recently posted a video on Facebook of him shooting a semi-automatic weapon into a field.

After going on a shooting spree that left three of his co-workers dead and 14 injured, Cedric Ford, 38, was shot and killed by a Kansas sheriff at the Excel Industries plant in Hesston.

Harvey County Sheriff T. Walton stated a deputy had served Ford a restraining order around 3:30 p.m. Thursday involving his live-in girlfriend, the Wichita Eagle reported. The sheriff believes the order was likely what set Ford off on his tirade.

Ford left the Excel factory, which produces lawn care products, not long after receiving the order and returned at approximately 5 p.m. and opened fire on his co-workers.

Law enforcement officials reported the gunman had a .223-caliber assault-style rifle and a semi-automatic pistol.
