Two 15-year-old girls have been killed in an apparent murder-suicide at the Independence High School in Glendale
Two 15-year-old girls have been killed in an apparent murder-suicide at the Independence High School in Glendale, Arizona. Both were students at the school.
The school has been placed on lockdown, and students were ordered to stay in their classrooms. Local media report the situation is “relatively calm”and that one ambulance has left the scene.
While law enforcement sources have told the local media that one person is dead, the police have not confirmed that publicly.
Glendale police said the victims were “two teenagers,” but did not give any further details. According to one KNXV-TV source, however, two female students got into an “altercation” which ended in gunshots.
