Trump Mercilessly Mocks ABC's Martha Raddatz for 'Crying' When She Realized He Was Going to Be Her Next President
Throughout Donald Trump's improbable run for the White House, we learned a few things about him. He loathes the “mainstream media.” He appears to be extremely thin-skinned, all the while claiming he's not. And The Donald carries grudges. Big-time grudges.
Enter: ABC News veteran anchor Martha Raddatz.
By most counts, Raddatz all but pulled up a podium next to Hillary during the October 9 presidential debate in St. Louis and started debating Trump, herself.
Then came election night and this moment from Raddatz—when she realized her worst nightmare was coming true. Yep, poor Martha appeared to actually choke up:
Fast-forward to Thursday night and a raucous arena in Cincinnati as Trump kicked off his “thank you” tour of several key states that propelled him to victory.
As he was going through his normal routine of skewering the media, he ridiculed Raddatz over her reaction to his win.
“How about when a major anchor who hosted a debate started crying when she realized that we won? Tears.”
“No, tell me this isn’t true!”, he mocked. “And you know what she doesn’t understand? Things are going to be much better now.”
Both ABC and Raddatz vehemently denied that she became emotional when she realized that Hillary was not going to be her next president. Even if true, it appears that The Donald continues to live rent-free in her “mainstream media” head.
