Trump Aides Dispute Reports That VP Pick Is Pence — Decision ‘Has Not Been Made’

After multiple reports circulated Thursday that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump chose Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate, a number of Trump campaign officials denied the rumors.

Trump’s campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, said that a decision “will be made in the near future.” That decision is to be announced Friday in New York, he added.

“A decision has not been made by Mr. Trump,” Jason Miller, a senior communications adviser for Trump, tweeted Thursday afternoon. “He will be making a decision in the future and will be announcing his Vice Presidential pick tomorrow at 11 a.m. as planned.”
