TOP 8 Hillary Lies from Final Debate
During the final presidential debate, Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton did not pass up a single opportunity to do what she does best — lie. Let’s take a look at at least eight of the biggest whoppers she told.
Lie #1: When asked about the Supreme Court, Clinton said with authority that the Senate should do its job and confirm the nominee that President Barack Obama nominated, adding that’s the way the Constitution operated.
However, it isn’t mandated the the Senate immediately respond to the president’s nomination.
Lie #2: When it came to the Second Amendment, Clinton told another lie, saying that she supported it. Clinton is well known to support polices that conflict with the right to bear arms to protect oneself and one’s family. To lie about that is ridiculous.
Lie #3: On the matter of abortion, Clinton tried to say that “so many states” are enacting strict regulations that prevent women from killing their babies to the extent that they are defunding Planned Parenthood, but defunding Planned Parenthood does not, sadly, end abortion.
Furthermore, those states moving to defund the organization did so after disgusting videos proved the organization had sold parts of aborted babies for a profit.
Lie #4: Clinton also lied when she said that Trump’s campaign began with him “bashing immigrants, calling Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals and drug dealers.” The truth is that Trump criticized lenient immigration polices that allow criminal immigrants to cross the border with relative ease.
Lie #5: Clinton told another whopper when she said, “We will not have open borders.”
Clinton had previously said, “My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders, some time in the future with energy that is as green and sustainable as we can get it, powering growth and opportunity for every person in the hemisphere.”
She tried to worm her way out of this position when moderator Chris Wallace challenged her on it, claiming the words were taken out of context, but her argument didn’t hold up against other statements she’s made.
Lie #6: Clinton argued that granting some sort of amnesty to illegal immigrants already in the U.S. would be good for the American economy.
“I am also arguing is that bringing undocumented immigrants out from the shadows, putting them into the formal economy will be good because employers can’t exploit them and undercut Americans’ wages,” she said.
Illegal labor is cheap, and therefore attractive, precisely because it is illegal. Bring those folks into the “formal economy,” and you’re actually hurting the U.S. economy and their employment prospects at the same time.
Lie #7: No discussion about lies would be complete without bringing up the budget. Clinton claimed that Obama has cut the federal deficit by two-thirds. That’s technically true, but it doesn’t change the more important fact that the national debt has increased by a whopping 84 percent under Obama.
Lie #8: Clinton’s most egregious prevarication came when asked about her close relationship to the Clinton Foundation while she served as secretary of state.
“Everything I did as secretary of state was in our interest and in furtherance of our values,” she said.
No, it was for the furtherance of her power and her bank account. And everyone knows it.
