Sarah Palin Announces Presidential Endorsement
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin confirmed rumors circulating early Tuesday by endorsing Donald Trump for president.
As reported by Western Journalism, Trump announced Sunday he would be having a “special guest” join him for a “major announcement” at Ames, Iowa.
“I’m proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for president,” the 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee said in a statement provided by the Trump campaign to the New York Times ahead of the rally.
“I am greatly honored to receive Sarah’s endorsement,” Trump responded. “She is a friend, and a high-quality person whom I have great respect for. I am proud to have her support.”
