Police Officer Fired After Saying “Make America Great Again”
Liberal hypocrisy strikes again — that should be the theme of the two weeks since Donald Trump became the president-elect. In those two weeks, we have seen riots, protests and other forms of violence from liberals, but in the end few of the rioters have been punished.
Instead, a police officer who used a police car’s PA system to say “Make America great again” to a group of triggered college students has been forced to resign, the University of Virginia’s The Cavalier Daily reported.
The incident happened on Election Night at UVA, where a group of students were returning to their dorms after the presidential race had been called.
“We believe any reasonable person would conclude that the inappropriate use of the PA system undermines the (University Police) Department’s goals and objectives and is detrimental to the department’s operation and the efficiency of the department,” read a joint statement from university Chief of Police Michael Gibson and university Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Pat Hogan.
So a police officer says four simple words and loses his job, but college students around the nation can riot, throw rocks at police officers and destroy property, and nothing happens to them?
Yup, that sounds totally fair to me.
Thousands of college students around the nation have walked out of classes, WABC reported, yet they have not suffered any academic consequences for essentially skipping class to go wander around yelling about Trump.
ABC News reported that college students have also demanded that their universities become sanctuaries for illegal immigrants — an idea that stands almost no chance of being successfully implemented and would likely violate several federal laws.
If these students are so psychologically damaged that someone yelling “Make America great again” gets them all riled up, they really need to seek counseling. Clearly something is seriously wrong with these people if they can’t tolerate hearing four words.
