BREAKING: Orlando Terror Transcripts Released… Media Caught in MASSIVE Lie
New police transcripts revealed the true motivation behind Orlando’s Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen — and it wasn’t what Americans have been led to think.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, new transcripts were released by Orlando police after a court hearing held in response to lawsuits filed by several news outlets. Those transcripts detailed a conversation between Mateen and an Orlando police negotiator on June 12.
During that call, the negotiator, called “Andy,” asked Mateen what was going on.
Mateen identified himself as a follower of the Islamic State terror group.
“Yo, the air strike that killed Abu Wahid a few weeks ago … that’s what triggered it, OK?” Mateen said. “They should have not bombed and killed Abu Wahid.”
“Do your f***ing homework and figure out who Abu Wahid is, OK?” he added.
Mateen also praised Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombers. He then told police that the U.S. should stop bombing Iraq and Syria.
On May 9, just slightly more than a month before the Pulse attack, the Pentagon had announced the death of Abu Wahib and three other radical Islamic terrorists in a drone strike in Iraq three days prior. Wahib was considered a “middle-level” military leader, but had also been “a high profile figure” because of his appearance in several of the gory execution videos for which the Islamic State group has become infamous.
Americans are just now hearing the motives behind Mateen’s mass murder. Before this, the media pushed the narrative that Mateen had suffered from mental health issues and was homophobic.
Media outlets such as The New York Times said Mateen’s motive for the shooting was unclear. In an editorial, The Times argued that it was “evident that Mr. Mateen was driven by hatred toward gays and lesbians.”
So, why were the transcripts withheld? It seems President Barack Obama’s FBI was misleading Americans for months about the shooter’s motives.
Counterterrorism expert Sebastian Gorka, a professor of strategy and irregular warfare at the Institute of World Politics, said the transcript “completely destroys” the Obama administration’s preferred narrative of “lone wolf” terror attacks.
“Omar Mateen isn’t a random individual discontented from a broader conspiracy,” Gorka said. He added that references made during the cellphone call by Mateen about Ramadan and fasting “flies in the face of the administration’s argument that these attacks are wholly disconnected from Islam.”
Heather Fagan, deputy chief of staff in the Orlando mayor’s office, told the Free Beacon that if the transcripts had been released immediately after the shooting, they would have compromised the investigation — although how exactly that was possible remained unclear. Neither the FBI nor the Orlando police would comment on why the transcripts had been redacted originally.
There is no reason to make excuses for a radical Islamic terrorist, labeling him “homophobic” or “mentally insane” to cover up the fact that he is in fact an Islamist. It’s time to state the facts.
