BOOM: Hillary Camp REELS After People Compare Brexit To The Presidential Election…
After Thursday’s vote by the United Kingdom to leave the European Union, Democrat presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton found herself on the wrong side of the people once again, and her camp was left feverishly trying to shift blame.
Back in April, Clinton encouraged the British people to remain in the EU, but they decided to go the opposite way. British Prime Minister David Cameron, who also found himself on the wrong side of the people, even used the same slogan that Clinton uses on the campaign trail: “Stronger Together.”
Clinton’s camp went into overdrive Friday trying to deflect from this potentially disastrous campaign situation by stating that what happens in Britain and what happens in America are two different things, according to the Washington Examiner.
Doesn’t the left claim that we need to be more engaged in the world and that conservatives are too “isolationist?” It’s tough keeping liberal “logic” straight …
Predictably, instead of acknowledging that presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump was right, Clinton’s camp found a way to criticize him. Clinton staffers called Trump “temperamentally unfit” to be president and work with global leaders.
Clinton’s staffers didn’t just insult Trump; they also insulted the British people. While Clinton claimed she had “respect” for the British voters’ decision, Hillary for America senior policy adviser Jake Sullivan said the following:
“We have a real confidence that Americans are a generous, tolerant, big-hearted people who believe we are stronger together. Also Americans have common sense.”
Sullivan’s statement clearly implied that the British people, who decided to re-assume their sovereignty as a nation, were lacking in common sense. But Trump is the one who is unfit to work with global leaders.
Remember what I said about liberal logic?
Not only did the Clinton campaign fail to concede to Trump on Brexit, they egregiously insulted the British people. We’ve already had a president go on an apology tour, do we really need one whose staff insults one of our oldest and strongest allies?
