AIR FORCE JET CRASHES AFTER COMMENCEMENT FLYOVER ATTENDED BY OBAMA...
A Thunderbirds fighter jet crashed south of Colorado Springs on Thursday afternoon just after the team had performed at the Air Force Academy’s graduation.
Maj. William Russell, with Peterson Air Force Base, confirmed the jet crashed, but said information on the situation is still preliminary.
“I can confirm the pilot was safely ejected,” Russell said.
The pilot was able to walk away from the crash unhurt, Air Force officials said.
