WTF? Gitmo Terrorists Complain About Women Guards, So Military Judge Removes Them
Captured Islamists suspected of terrorism (specifically the “9/11 five”) at Guantanamo Bay have requested that female guards not escort them because they are forbidden from having contact with unrelated women under Islam. Now, a US military judge has complied with their request and issued an order prohibiting the women from escorting the suspected terrorists.
The “9/11 five” are five inmates at Guantanamo Bay who are suspected of masterminding the 9/11 attacks.
Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., revealed Army Col. James Pohl’s decision to the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday morning.
Ayotte told Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Joseph Dunford: “We have a situation down there where we met with women guards who are being prevented from fully performing their mission because the five 9/11 attackers who are charged with killing 3,000 Americans will not allow them to perform their duties because they’re women.”
