UNREAL: Obama Issues Sick Demand About How Every American Should PRAY
(via Conservative Tribune) -- There are very few people in the world who can influence how people pray. Pope Francis. Billy Graham. John Piper. Barack Obama.
I’m sure the vast majority of you find the old “Sesame Street” tune, “One of these things is not like the other…” running through your head at the moment. Yet, sadly, it’s true — at least how Obama sees it, according to a story from CNSNews.
“If we truly care about this — if we’re going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience — then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them,” Obama said in a statement issued after the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting. “Period. Enough is enough.”
Wow, the president knows how God thinks? Amazing! We could have saved a lot of time if we knew that.
For instance, Obamacare — apparently, God wants us to realize realize how tenuous our time on earth is by getting our health insurance canceled and making us pay more for the new government-mandated coverage. Also, the chorus of angels apparently stinks at designing a website.
The full text of Obama’s statement is even more disturbing.
“The last thing Americans should have to do, over the holidays or any day, is comfort the families of people killed by gun violence — people who woke up in the morning and bid their loved ones goodbye with no idea it would be for the last time. And yet, two days after Thanksgiving, that’s what we are forced to do again,” the statement read.
“We don’t yet know what this particular gunman’s so-called motive was for shooting 12 people, or for terrorizing an entire community, when he opened fire with an assault weapon and took hostages at a Planned Parenthood center in Colorado,” Obama continued.
“What we do know is that he killed a cop in the line of duty, along with two of the citizens that police officer was trying to protect. We know that law enforcement saved lives, as so many of them do every day, all across America. And we know that more Americans and their families had fear forced upon them.”
I highlighted those particular statements for a reason. Firs, if you don’t know what the gunman’s “so-called motive” is, what do you know about preventing it? It’s a blatant sign the president is willing to exploit any tragedy for his own agenda, no matter how fresh the memory.
Second, after nearly seven years of blaming and demonizing law enforcement, he wants to praise them now?
It’s a little late, Barack. But then, it’s too late to hope that any praying person would listen to you, anyway.
