It’s a Golden Age for bacon lovers these days, which makes it all the sadder when something like this happens: 2 million pounds of bacon is being recalled.

Turkey bacon, that is. No less a tragedy though, is it?

Fortune reports that the USDA announced 2,068,467 pounds of Oscar Mayer turkey bacon “may be adulterated because it may spoil before the ‘Best When Used By’ date.” The manufacturer, Kraft-Heinz, discovered the problem after receiving “spoilage-related consumer complaints.”
