Trump Gets OUTRAGEOUS Message From Bergdahl’s Lawyers… Look What They’re Demanding
In a completely insane twist, Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s attorney has decided to slam GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, accusing The Donald of hurting Bergdahl’s ability to receive a fair trial.
Eugene Fidell, Bergdahl’s counsel, told The Associated Press Monday that Trump must “cease his prejudicial months-long campaign of defamation against our client. I have no idea what Mr. Trump has in mind and I don’t think Mr. Trump has any idea of what he has in mind. I think he’s a big faker.”
Strange words coming from the man defending the former Taliban prisoner of war in a court-martial over desertion charges and endangering fellow troops when he left his post in Afghanistan. Bergdahl was captured by the Taliban and imprisoned until May 2014.
Trump has criticized President Barack Obama’s decision to exchange five Taliban prisoners for Bergdahl and has also publicly called Bergdahl a “no-good traitor.”
During a rally in Las Vegas on Monday, Trump noted pointedly that troops who faced similar charges in the past have been executed.
“If I get in, we will review his case,” Trump promised.
