Trump Claims Obama Must Be 1 of 2 Things… And Both Of Them Are Bad News For America
In a fiery radio interview, GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump said that, when it comes to the Syrian refugee crisis, the president either “doesn’t have a clue” or — perhaps even worse — that he does and has been deliberately evil.
Trump made the comments on Howie Carr’s Boston-based talk show Tuesday, reacting to President Barack Obama’s refusal to even consider any changes to America’s intake of Syrian refugees in the wake of the Paris attack.
“This president doesn’t have a clue or he does have a clue and he has evil intentions — I don’t know,” Trump told Carr when asked about the refugee crisis. “I find that hard to believe, (but) a lot of people think that.”
“This isn’t a question of refugees,” Trump continued. “This is a question of safety for our people for our country. This is a question of Trojan horse. This could be the ultimate Trojan horse where people are coming in under the guise that we are taking care of them and they end up blowing up big parts of our cities.”
He also said Obama’s inaction on the issue in the wake of the Paris attacks was telling.
“He doesn’t seem to be in any rush,” Trump said about Obama’s actions. “It just doesn’t seem important to him. It’s an incredible thing.”
“They’re going to be coming here next,” he added. “They see the level of leadership we have and they’re probably thinking about things they never thought of before … It’s so sad. You know the damage one or two can do. One or two or five or seven would do unbelievable damage.”
