Three Hunted After Deadly California Shooting
Three suspects are being sought after a deadly mass shooting at a social services centre in southern California, police say.
There are as many as 20 victims in the attack at San Bernardino, according to the fire department in the city, about 60 miles (96km) east of Los Angeles.
"SBFD units responding to reports of 20 victim shooting incident in 1300 block of S. Waterman. SBPD is working to clear the scene," the city fire department said on Twitter.
Police confirmed there had been fatalities but did not say how many.
ABC affiliate KABC reported that up to 12 people were dead.
The suspects targeted an office Christmas party in a conference room, according to local media.
San Bernardino Sheriff's Office told Sky News the attack took place at the Inland Regional Center, a facility for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Spokeswoman Teri Adams said witnesses reported that up to three men in military gear carried out the attack.
The suspects are believed to have fled in a black SUV.
No arrests have been made.
