PETA sends FUR COATS to Syrian refugees because 'we can't bring back the minks and rabbits who were slaughtered'

Animal rights organization PETA is sending fur coats to migrants and refugees in Syria and the 'Jungle' camp in Calais. 

PETA representatives say that as the dead animals cannot be brought back to life, their furs can do good by helping those in need this winter. 

The group's UK enclave has so far received around 100 fur coats and dozens of shoes which they are in the process of sending to refugees in France and Syria.

PETA receives fur coats and leather goods all year around from people who have decided to give up animal products.

The furs are normally used in PETA campaigns - to be burned or covered in fake blood during protests - or donated to homeless.
