AL-Raqqah, Syria– Kim Davis has garnered support across the country for refusing to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples based on her religious belief that homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of God. Conservative Christians have rallied behind the humble public servant in large numbers, sharing in the belief that no law is above “God’s Authority.”

Kim’s courageous act of defiance has made her a martyr in the eyes of many. Presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee are two of her biggest supporters. When Federal Judge David Bunning sentenced her to jail for contempt of court, Cruz and Huckabee made the pilgrimage to Kentucky to stage a rally on Davis’ behalf.

Kim’s message of God having the ultimate authority has resonated with thousands, perhaps millions of Christian Americans. Now it has even caught the attention of the Islamic State.

ISIS leader Abu Ali al-Anbari released a statement today saying Kim Davis will be the very first female to win the prestigious ‘ISIS Courage Award’ (ICA) for (translated from Arabic) “Adhering to Sharia Law under threat of imprisonment by infidel American Judge. Kim Davis, on behalf of the Islamic State, ALLAHU AKBAR!”
