Fox News Host Makes Sickening Statement on Calif. Shooting… AGREES WITH OBAMA
Fox News Channel host Shepard Smith is a generally well-liked news anchor who typically delivers the news in an informative and at times humorous manner.
However, Smith is something of a liberal and occasionally allows his bias to shine through, turning his reporting into editorializing. His reporting on Wednesday’s terror attack in San Bernardino, California, was one of those occasions.
Early on in the attack, while the situation was still fluid and unfolding, Smith began to allude to comments made recently by President Barack Obama about mass shootings in America, seemingly echoing his calls for more gun control.
Bringing up the premise that more mass shootings happen in America than anywhere else in the world, a claim recently made again while Obama was in Paris (site of a recent mass shooting attack), Smith said: “He got a lot of partisan push back from his political opponents. But, the fact of the matter is among developed nations, that’s the truth.”
“The source of mass shootings with regularity of where they occur in the United States — you don’t find that in other countries,” Smith continued. “That’s not to say anything except that fact. You can extrapolate from that whatever you want.”
