Fox News Anchor Accused Of Rape – Victim Terminates Pregnancy

A few years ago, Fox News anchor Greg Kelly was accused of raping a young woman in a Financial District law office in New York City. Now, it has come to light that the woman claimed she got pregnant from the attack, and later aborted the baby.

Maria Di Toro, 29, claimed that she became so drunk during a night out with Kelly that she has no memory of the alleged attack. She says that she remembers nothing after leaving the bar with Kelly to go to the nearby law firm where she worked as a paralegal.

Investigators dispute this claim, saying her low bar tab at the restaurant proves that she was not that drunk. Di Torro, however, believes that she was roofied, as she felt “severely impaired” after just a few sips of her drink. It took her three months to report the crime to police, and she says they seemed less than willing to take her case.

Kelly, 46, is an anchor on Fox’s Good Day New York, and is also the son of New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. Some say that this family connection helped him to dodge any charges in the sexual assault.

Di Torro got an abortion one month after the alleged assault. Kelly has maintained that he is completely innocent in this case.

The District Attorney issued a public letter at the time, saying that “the facts established during our investigation do not fit the definitions of sexual assault crimes under New York criminal law. Therefore, no criminal charges are appropriate.”

After the release of the letter, Kelly issued a statement saying he was “thankful that the investigation established what I’ve known all along, that I am innocent of the allegations that were waged against me. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family and friends whose support for me never wavered.”
