Fifth grade teacher arrested after 'shooting 18-year-old' who is dating his high school freshman daughter
A fifth grade teacher has been arrested after allegedly shooting his daughter's boyfriend on his 18th birthday.
Dr Fitzgerald McQueen, 50, has been charged with first-degree assault after Jaizon Collins - who is dating the teacher's ninth grade daughter - was shot in the chest at 3am yesterday.
Collins, who was inside McQueen's home in Harvest, Alabama, when he was shot, was taken to Huntsville Hospital and is expected to recover.
Police have not released the age of McQueen's daughter however she is a high school freshman.
Investigators said he was in a 'dating relationship' with Collins, who was celebrating his 18th birthday when he was shot, according to WHNT News.
