EXCLUSIVE: San Bernardino shooting victim receives anti-Israel threat on Facebook day before shooting

By RedFlag News Desk

Thanks to a tip by one of our readers, it appears that one of the victims of yesterday’s shooting had just received a very strange anti-Semitic threat on Facebook just one day prior to the shooting.

The threat came from someone calling himself Med Ali Zarouk from Ukraine.

Philly.com confirms he was a victim of yesterday's terrorist incident:

The mass shooting in San Bernardino at a county health department party hit home in Cape May County, where one of the victims, Nicholas Thalasinos, had been a health inspector more than a decade ago, a friend said.

"We found out this morning. looking on Facebook," said Ed Beck, a construction official in the city of Linwood. "We were talking about it, saying I hope Nick was ok, not knowing. It's always one of those deals, you know how big San Bernardino is, he's probably ok."

Beck said his wife had just spoken to Thalasinos on Sunday regarding cancer surgery.

"He was a wonderful friend," Beck said. "He worked in Cape May County as a health inspector and went out to California and was doing the same work there."

Photos from Nicholas' Facebook profile confirm the threat and the person confirmed in the Philly.com article are both the same person.

It is unclear at this point if the threat and the shooting were related as part of a larger ISIS plot, or just a very strange coincidence.
