Drudge to Snowden: I’ll Switch Places with You if Hillary is Elected [VIDEO]
During an impromptu interview on the Alex Jones Show, Drudge, often considered the most influential man in media, argued that a President Hillary Clinton would undoubtedly abuse the National Security Agency’s surveillance powers against her political adversaries.
“I’ve got a long history with these people,” Drudge said of the Clintons. “They’re ugly, they play dirty, they sued me for $30 million last time around with the approval of the president, announced by the press secretary of the White House, a civil action… and they didn’t have the NSA then. They had Echelon, they had all these other things you were talking about then.”
Speaking specifically to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, who is currently exiled in Russia after revealing widespread global surveillance, Drudge facetiously suggested switching places with the former government contractor in the event of another Clinton administration.
“Hillary Clinton with the NSA, good luck if you dissent. Good luck if you dissent,” Drudge stated. “Snowden I’ll switch places with you. You can come over here and rot in hell because that’s what it’s going to be.”
