CAIR biting bullets over AR-15 with Bible verse

A Florida gun manufacturer hopes Islamic terrorists will shun its new AR-15 rifle —  “The Crusader” — like pork.

Spike’s Tactical, based in Apopka, Fla., has created a rifle with a Bible verse, Psalm 144:1, laser-etched into its side: “Blessed be the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.” The rifle also features the Templar Long Cross.

“Off the cuff I said I’d like to have a gun that if a Muslim terrorist picked it up a bolt of lightning would hit and knock him dead,” company spokesman Ben “Mookie” Thomas told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday. Thomas is a former Navy SEAL.

Hasan Shibly, executive director of The Council on American-Islamic Relations in Florida, expressed his disapproval of the AR-15 variant when asked for comment.

“Is it designed for Christian terrorists? We need to have a conversation on gun violence,” Shibly told the newspaper. “There has been utter silence from gun manufacturers. It’s time for them to stop trying to make a buck on this.”
