Bernie Sanders Wants You to Call 911 if Your Neighbor Brings a Gun into Their Home
If you see someone bringing guns and ammunition into their own home, you should call 911 according to Democrat Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
During the Democrat debate purposely scheduled on a Saturday night to guarantee low viewership, Sanders was asked about comments from neighbors of the San Bernardino terrorists, claiming they suspected something nefarious but didn’t report it to police over fears of profiling.
“That’s kind of a no-brainer. If somebody is loading guns and ammunition into a house, I think it’s a good idea to call 911. Do it,” Sanders said.
Notice that our favorite “drunk uncle” of a candidate didn’t say a word about what suspicions you have. Just that you should call 911 if somebody is putting guns and ammo in their own home – because clearly that’s always suspicious activity and not just people who enjoy shooting.
When host David Muir pressed sanders on the profiling issue, Sanders quickly abandoned all pretext of answering the question and went into another ultra-liberal rant against success in America:
“I want to talk about something else because secretary Clinton I think made some interesting and good points. What you have now is a very dangerous moment in American history. The secretary [Hillary Clinton] is right. Our people are fearful. They are anxious on a number of levels. They are anxious about international terrorism and the possibility of another attack on America.
“We all understand that, but you know what else they’re anxious about? They’re anxious about the fact that they are working incredibly long hours. They’re worried about their kids and they’re seeing the income and wealth going to the top 1 percent.”
