At least one person was arrested and one police officer was injured Wednesday as a group of protesters moved through downtown Baltimore while pre-trial hearings got under way in the Freddie Gray case.

Protesters marched from the District Courthouse to the Inner Harbor before turning north to the city's police headquarters after the hearing began at 9:30 a.m. Police urged marchers — estimated by officers to number between 50 and 75 — to "remain on the sidewalk" as they encountered the last of the morning rush-hour traffic on Pratt Street.
